Do you need your Finance team to be more influential?

Does your Finance team know what their stakeholders want?

The number 1 thing missing from your Finance team's strategy

The 3 elements of an Influential Finance Team

Forward Looking
Finance needs to be future focused in order to help the business know what to do next.

The business wants to know what it can impact going forward.
Business Lens
See the world from the business’s perspective.

What goals are they trying to achieve? What pressures are they under? What really matters to the individual stakeholders?
Curiosity
Nobody has all the answers & Finance doesn’t need to have them.

But what Finance does need is curiosity.
This leads to understanding stakeholders, situations and leads to finding solutions.

How to embed a culture of influence

What success looks like

What is the business’s approach to interacting with your Finance team?
When your customer ignores you
We all know plenty of brands that couldn’t pay you to use their products.

Many of us have also been in Finance teams that the rest of the business doesn’t want to interact with. That may be down to the lack of impact Finance has, or a perception of a lack of impact.

What success looks like
When the business has a financial decision to make, you want them to initiate the contact with Finance.

You want Finance to be the people they call as they know you will add value.

What People Are Saying

“Rated 4.9 /5 by conference attendee”

Practical, informative, entertaining and engaging – just a few of the words our delegates used to describe Alan’s keynote session, one of the top-rated speakers at our Congress in Darwin this year.

With his own unique comedy style, Alan gave our audience food for thought and valuable tips to change their approach to reporting and data visualisation. Who knew Motown was so relevant to the accounting profession!"
